Trophy Hunts

We at Hiland are fortunate to partner with one of South Africa’s premier outfitters. Teri and Tom are their exclusive US agents and can customize a safari from plains game up to the Big 5. Hiland has dates secured for the 2023 season and will be hosting some hunts.

Package Hunts 2024

Hunt packages include;

* All road transport for the duration of hunt

* Full Accommodation with daily laundry and cleaning service

* Soft drinks and mineral water provided, table wine

* No premium or hard liquor is included

* Services of professional hunter, use of hunting vehicle,

trackers, skinners, and camp staff

* Hunting licenses and permits-excluding CITES.

Not included;

* Air travel, accommodations before and after the contracted

period of the safari

* Hire of rifles and ammunition ($50 per day, .30 cal $5ea; .375 $10ea)

* Personal travel or medical insurance

* Disinfecting, packaging, forwarding, and insurance of trophies from port of exit to yourself

* Taxidermist charges

* Additional tours and sight-seeing

Please note;

* Rates are subject to change without written notice

* Game not listed maybe negotiable

*Any animals wounded (found or not found) will be charged in full
*While every effort is made to ensure the hunting client’s safety, no responsibility can be accepted for any illness, accident or loss/damage to personal belongings

How to book;

$1500 non refundable deposit is required to confirm reservation

50% deposit is required on all Big 5 hunts

No refund of of deposit will be made if the client cancels the safari within 6 months of contracted date. In all other instances the deposit will be refunded only when no other suitable date could be re-booked for the safari in that same year.

Balance of all other costs and trophies taken is payable on completion of the hunt before departure. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Please be sure you notify your bank that you will be traveling abroad and using your bank cards in South Africa.

Non-hunters are $200 per day
